PRESS RELEASETXP Medical's Emergency Medical Information System Selected by Tsukuba City for Demonstration and Research Project for Realization of Super City by Cabinet Office

TXP Medical's (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative director; Tomohiro Sonoo) project "Construction of a high-level emergency medical transport system to improve the quality of emergency medical care" in Tsukuba City using NSER mobile, an emergency medical information system provided to local governments nationwide, has been adopted by the "Research Project on Development and Construction of Advanced Services" conducted by Cabinet Office's secretariat for the Regional Revitalization Promotion.
The support of the Cabinet Office will strengthen the promotion of this project. The project will contribute to the realization of the Digital Garden City State Concept while solving local issues through data linkage and implementation of cutting-edge services.
<Details of the survey project>
The following survey project will be conducted at the University of Tsukuba Hospital, other emergency hospitals in Tsukuba City, and the Tsukuba City Fire Department.
Digitization of patient information at the scene of an emergency to speed up the sharing of information with the hospital to which the patient is being transported and to reduce the burden on both the hospital and the emergency medical team.
Data linkage between the emergency transport system and the patient PHR and AI quantification of patient conditions will speed up the acquisition of emergency patient information and the decision of where to transport the patient.
The possibility of expanding EMS treatment through remote display of doctor/nurse instructions via video/voice transmission from the ambulance car.

A system for real-time information sharing during emergency transport, digitalization of all data from pre-transportation to prognosis, and construction of an integrated database of emergency medical care that can be analyzed by AI are expected to enable rapid and accurate selection of transport destination based on patient conditions and to improve the quality of emergency medical care.

NSER mobile is a system that supports regional emergency transport by facilitating the linkage of information between emergency teams and hospitals through instantaneous linkage of emergency patient information to the cloud.
Since its release in December 2020, NSER mobile has already been used by fire departments in 7 regions of Japan, and more than 4,000 cases of emergency transports are being handled by the system every month.
By introducing this system, information recording and communication at the scene of an emergency will be digitized, and the time required for emergency transport and paperwork will be shortened.

What is the "Research Project on Development and Construction of Advanced Services"?
The Cabinet Office is promoting the "Super City Concept" which aims to realize the future society around 2030 from the residents' perspective with the participation of residents. The project is also supporting the realization of the Digital Garden City State Concept by conducting research projects in the field of "development and establishment of cutting-edge services," which is a key point in the Super City Concept, and by solving regional issues through data linkage and implementation of cutting-edge services.
