TXP Medical's "NEXT Stage ER" to Be Utilized in AstraZeneca's Acute Care Real-World Data Study

TXP Medical Co., Ltd.’s (CEO: Tomohiro Sonoo, hereinafter "TXP Medical") system, "NEXT Stage ER," will be utilized in a real-world data (RWD) study (hereinafter "the Study") conducted by AstraZeneca K.K. (hereinafter "AstraZeneca").

"NEXT Stage ER" is a patient information recording and management system specialized for emergency rooms. It is provided to approximately 80 hospitals nationwide, enabling data acquisition of patient information from pre-hospital to in-hospital. Through this system, TXP Medical will provide AstraZeneca with services for the analysis and publication support of structured data obtained from multiple facilities. And the Study aims to clarify the actual conditions of acute care treatments by leveraging RWD in emergency medicine. TXP Medical's RWD services will contribute to evidence-based medicine through this study.

[Features of TXP Medical’s RWD Service]
TXP Medical's RWD is a research support service accompanying its acute care department system, the NEXT Stage series. By utilizing a data warehouse (DWH) that accumulates structured acute care medical data, including over 900 laboratory values, vital signs, and Diagnosis Procedure Combination (DPC) data, all standardized across hospitals, the service can reveal the actual state of diseases based on RWD.
A team of physicians with extensive clinical or research experience provides comprehensive services, from research design planning to data analysis support and publication assistance.
TXP Medical also provides disease awareness services using the NEXT Stage series, questionnaire services for healthcare professionals and paramedics, and medical site visit services to provide opportunities to deepen disease understanding.
