Speaker 1: Dr. Yuta Iwamoto
(TXP Medical Co. Ltd., Head of Overseas Business Development)
Dr. Iwamoto focused on the challenges facing clinical trials in the acute care domain in Japan, introducing solutions based on TXP Medical’s implementation of generative AI for automated registry registration. His presentation demonstrated how AI-driven data collection and management contribute to greater research efficiency and accuracy. His examples drew significant interest from attendees, showcasing the role of AI in streamlining clinical trial processes.

As a member of the Asia-Pacific Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (APELSO), Dr. Yeung presented a collaborative project with TXP Medical, focusing on building a registry for patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). She detailed the use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology in the registry, demonstrating how it improves both the accuracy and efficiency of clinical data collection. The case study highlighted the practical application of AI technologies in enhancing clinical research outcomes.
