TXP Medical to Support RWD Study of Acute Stage Conducted by Otsuka

TXP Medical Co. Ltd (CEO: Tomohiro Sonoo, hereinafter "TXP Medical") has initiated to support Real World Data (RWD) study (hereafter "the study") conducted by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.("Otsuka") to investigate the patient background and actual drug use.

This study aims to clarify risk factors in the perioperative period by analyzing patient background, intraoperative events, and clinical outcomes using RWD derived from electronic medical records at multiple medical institutions. The RWD used in this study is standardized and structured time-series clinical test values, surgery-related data, and ICU treatment-related data provided by TXP Medical’s system. By clarifying the current treatment status of target diseases, TXP Medical and Otsuka will contribute to improving clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients.

<Details of research support>
This study will analyze patient data from each hospital to investigate background factors, surgical procedures, and events in target patients. TXP Medical analyzes RWD, which includes standardized and structured lab data and various scores, with the knowledge of ER and ICU medical doctors.
