This patent is based on an algorithm that enables physicians to prevent overlooking potentially critical diseases by listing up "possible highly critical diseases" at the top as a differential diagnosis from the input information, considering the gravity of the overlooking of the disease in spite of the small chance of having the disease.

In case it is considered that a physician already is aware of a disease as a differential diagnosis, which could be interpreted through the content of the medical recording, the disease is not going to be picked up at the top of the list.
This system results in an outcome that the overlooking of rare but critical diseases is efficiently prevented by physicians. Consequently, this will lead us to the development of a better clinical decision-supporting system (CDSS).

This key feature is very different from the common CDSS, which normally lists up the very common diseases without considering the gravity of the overlooking of rare but critical diseases. Especially young doctors who have not experienced seeing those cases with rare diseases will benefit from this system.

By utilizing this technology, TXP Medical will achieve the prevention of overlooking critical diseases. We will keep contributing to enhancing the quality of care in emergency medicine.
